hi hi hi sisters ♡ last newsletter of 2024, wowie thats a crazy thing to say!
I hope you have all had a wonderful christmas or holiday season so far and are enjoying some slower time (hopefully!!) mine has been for the most part, but also have been trying to apply to jobs or at least email out a bunch of emails to people, if anyone wants to apply to jobs for me, lmk ◡̈
keeping the recommendations section to recommendations for different substacks that I read. I find it to be really important to support small “businesses” (that sounds odd to use here, but maybe influencers is another word I can use?) and one way I can do that is by sharing about them!
in honor of a new year coming along, and feeling like a mood board is one of the best ways to think about how you want your next year to be, I want to recommend
. this newsletter shares prompts, reflections, photos, drawings, stories, recommendations, and more. its so cozy and I love the inspiration I get from it!movies: only watched two movies this week… but both were christmas classics. the first was home alone 2 (personally I think its better than home alone) and then a charlie brown christmas, such a cutie little short
books: I read blue sisters by coco mellors in a week and I LOVED IT. its a story following three sisters going through grief a year after their 4th sister died. its so beautiful and I loved how unique each sister was, but also how much you could tell that they were related, if that makes any sense. being a sister is a really special role I get to play and this book was so good at capturing that feeling.
in my mind: has snoopy always been this popular?
in my stomach: california = in n out and a happy kaitlynn. ALSO getting to enjoy mexican food 😋

2024 was a really good year overall! also sad to see it end because this whole year I was able to say “I have a year left in new york. I move next year” but now that we are upon 2025, I have to start saying “I move out of new york this year” and that’s sad, but exciting because a new chapter of my life will be starting, one that I am very grateful for
