hi hi hi sister
my name is Kaitlynn, aka, your big sis; or as my actual sister Kelley would rather me say, sissy.
I grew up in the desert of Las Vegas, lived in the mountains of Utah, and now currently live in the *concrete* jungle of New York City (truly the greatest city in the world) as a law student. I have been here since 2020, and took to the city like a fish to water.
but at the end of the day, i feel like I am just a 28 year old teenage girl who doesn’t know what I want to do in this world besides wanting to share my thoughts and feelings and emotions and opinions on everything. I love movies and the internet and pop culture and pinterest and creating and reading and writing and horizontal time; and I want to share that all with you. I’m hoping that we’ll laugh, and cry, and create a community of sisterhood together. because we all need each other to figure out life!!
who is a sister?
I think we all typically think of sister as someone who is actually our female sibling, or a woman from our church congregation.
I’m rebranding that word to include the broader definition of sister, such as: a thing regarded as feminine and associated as if by kinship with something else; being or considered a sister- related by or as if by sisterhood; having a close relationship with another because of shared interests, problems, or the like; and lastly, a woman who supports, promotes, or participates in feminism.
so to me, you are all my sister, and I love you like one already
